The Easy Step-By-Step Way To Have An Online Profitable Business – Part 1 Hosting & Registration Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by. Today, we are going to learn the easy way of starting your own online business. First thing is first. We need to come up with a name for your business. In order to accomplish that, we need to know your likes and hobbies. What is it that you truly like doing when you are not working or when you are? If someone gave you a million dollars to start your own business, what would it be? Even if they didn’t give it to you, you would you do it for free anyway? We are looking for your passion. You need this to ensure success. Now, think up of at least 25 names and plug them here to see if they are available or not. If they are not, you will need to think up 25 more. We need to try to get an available .com name. People take those more seriously. Once you find which names are available, say it over and over out loud. Have some of your friends or family members say them. How do they sound? Imagine one day that name you came up with will be on a TV commercial. Will it sound good there? How did it sound in comparison to others? Did it fit right in? Did it stick out? Did it sound silly? Once you decide on the name, you must remember you are going to have to stick with it. No changing that name later on. Think about it. What if Amazon suddenly changed their name? How about ebay? We will now need to decide where to register that name. In order to have an online presence you have to register. It’s like registering your automobile before putting it on the road. It is good to register and host all at the same place so you don’t have to keep up where everything is located. But sometimes it is cost effective to register in one place and host at another. One Hosting Provider, in my opinion, has excellent customer service. They also deal in bulk rates. The more names you own and the longer you own them, the cheaper it will be. But, their hosting is poor. There are problems with slowness when sharing the same server with others. Creating subdirectories can really slow things down. You will hear things about “.htaccess” and how you need to change variables to make things work when other hosting providers have no such problem. Go ahead and do your research and you will see. I cannot tell you the many times I have spent building sites to have to start from scratch because of slow down and they not being able to remedy this permanently. When finding a host, there is another thing to think about; Web mail. With a certain Hosting Provider, you will have to upgrade your email accounts so that you will have room. Other hosting accounts like SiteGround, gives you infinite room without the need to upgrade. Which would you rather have? It would also be nice to stop Spam BEFORE it gets to my inbox. Again, this Hosting Provider does not help you there. Why do I need to upgrade to get this? Don’t get me wrong, I loved them… at one time but with change comes lots of agony. If you ever been inside this Hosting Provider, you will never see so many advertisements in one place. It is really difficult to find where you need to go as a newbie. With SiteGround, it is very, very clean and right to the point. You can get where you need to go easily. When finding a Hosting Provider, choose Linux over Windows as the operating system. It does not matter if your home or business personal computer has one or the other. Linux is more stable than windows and uptimes are better. Some Hosting Providers are not up like they say they are. Use Web Site Availability Monitoring Software like Siteup. Here are some of the places I have used overtime where you can register and host your new name:
